St. John's Nursery

How to help

Our school relies on participation from all of our families, and it is a great way to meet new friends and to learn about our school.

There are a wide variety of ways to get involved, from volunteering on a committee, helping out with our annual fundraisers, being a Parent Representative for your child’s class, donating items for the classroom, or coming in to read or transcribe children’s stories in the classroom.

Several of the positions involve work done in the evening or by email or phone, while others involve helping out at a specific event, or in the classroom. Your participation is needed to make our program thrive, and we truly appreciate it.

Here are a few ways to get involved…

Parent Representatives

Each of the classrooms has a Parent Representative that attends the board meetings in order to help improve communication and broaden family involvement.

Fundraising Coordinators

Two fundraising coordinators collaborate with the board to plan and execute events to support the financial health of the School and to enhance the community. The fundraising coordinators also receive first priority in the lottery registration.
